This action focuses primarily on mediating between technology, human activity and the end user, whether that technology has a physical, virtual, or even cognitive presence.
Academic design studies are not merely the acquisition of skills, but also an education in the values of independent thinking, leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal and social responsibility. In academia, which is entrusted with the transmission of knowledge, design studies are grounded in the creation of new knowledge from existing information, for the benefit of individuals, companies, and communities.
