Is the supreme governing body of the Holon Institute of Technology Association. Its responsibilities include determining the Institute’s policies and objectives; reviewing and approving the management of the Institute’s affairs, operations, and assets; initiating the development of new resources to achieve the Association’s objectives; reviewing and approving the Institute’s budget; and acting to achieve its goals and promote its advancement.
Within the scope of its authority under the Association’s bylaws, the Board of Trustees is responsible for the election of the Chair of the Board of Trustees, the Executive Committee and its Chair, the President of the Institute, and the Audit Committee.
Mr. Pinchas (Pini) Cohen serves as Chairman and Partner (since 2011) at Noy Investment Fund, operating in the infrastructure and energy sectors – the largest private equity fund in Israel. Concurrently, Mr. Cohen serves as Chairman and Partner (since 2009) at America Israel Investments Ltd., an Israeli company in the real estate and investment sector.
Additionally, he is active in private real estate and commerce and serves as Chairman and Partner at the Davidoff Group (since 2006), which focuses on insurance and medical and public services in Europe, India, and Israel. Furthermore, Mr. Cohen is Chairman and Partner at Studio C Ltd., which operates 35 branches nationwide, specializing in weight loss, fitness, and nutrition programs, particularly for women.
Previously, Mr. Cohen held several senior management positions, including Chairman of Egged Transportation Ltd. (2009-2013); CEO of Africa Israel Investments (1998-2006); Chairman and Partner at Teshuva Holdings Ltd. (2006-2009); CEO of Egged Transportation and Tourism Ltd. (1994-1998); Vice President of Mul-T-Lock (1992-1994); and Manager at Ararat Insurance Company (1972-1992).
Throughout the years, Mr. Cohen has served as Chairman and Director on numerous boards, primarily in subsidiaries of the corporations he has managed and continues to manage.
In the social sphere, Mr. Cohen currently serves as Chairman of the Friends of Rabin Medical Center Association, as well as Chairman of the Friends of the Meir Institute Association, Jerusalem, a center for Jewish studies. Additionally, Mr. Cohen is Chairman of the Israeli Board of Trustees of the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS).
In the past, Mr. Cohen also served as Chairman of the Friends of Nitzan Association, a non-profit organization for treating children with learning disabilities, and as a member of the Friends of the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya Association.
Mr. Cohen holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and management from Tel Aviv University. Mr. Cohen, who resides in Herzliya, is married and a father of two.
Graduate of the direct track to master’s degree in mathematics and physics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Completed his doctoral dissertation in the field of transport equations: particle transport in matter.

Founder and Director of the
Society for Industrial Mathematics at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev; Head of the Center for Military Research (MACHTZAV) at Rafael; Co-founder of the Operations Research branch in the Israeli Air Force and one of the leaders of this scientific field in Israel.
Professor of Mathematics since 1981. At HIT since 1994. Research activity: Complex analysis and applied mathematics. Initiated, established, led and managed several undergraduate and graduate degree programs in collaboration with industrial and academic institutions in Israel and abroad, and held numerous academic management positions.
BIO of Prof. Yakubov
Itzik Malach grew up in Holon and is a graduate of Kugel High School Holon. In the IDF, he completed his service as Commander of MAMRAM (the IDF Computer Center), recipient of a Certificate of Distinguished Service from the IDF and a Certificate of Excellence from the Chief of Staff.
Malach previously served as Deputy CEO of Bank Leumi Group, Technology and Innovation Division, and served as a director in public and private companies.
Malach holds a master’s degree from Tel Aviv University, is a graduate of the Directors Course at Reichman University and the Directors Course of the Israel Institute of Directors. As part of his military service, he completed the National Security College.
