HIT Holon Institute of Technology Green Campus strives to lead and embed environmental and sustainability awareness and to educate students in the spirit of environmental and social responsibility values.
In this framework, the Institute encourages research and action that promotes these values in its immediate surroundings on campus and in the city of Holon, as well as in the global environment.
The Institute was recognized as a “Green Campus” in 2011 and as a “Sustained Green Campus” in 2016.
As part of the Institute’s committees, a Green Council operates with participation from academic faculty members, administrators, and student union representatives.
The Green Council encourages, initiates, and promotes action and projects in the field of sustainability, and its discussions are open to faculty and students interested in advancing sustainability values.
We invite anyone interested in creating innovation and promoting sustainability through integration and collaboration between the various faculties and departments and between the Institute and the City of Holon.
