By tracking speckle patterns and implementing advanced computational techniques, the RBSL pushes the boundaries of traditional sensing, offering new insights into fields such as engineering and biomedical science.
Among the innovations developed thus far, are methods for remotely sensing heartbeats, breathing rate and blood pressure.
The Lab has several joint projects with local hospitals.
