The Lab is GDPR, ISO27001 and HIPAA compliant. HEAL serves as a data research center with more than 25 leading data scientists in Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Natural Language Processing (NLP), processing and analysis of bio-medical signals and images: EEG, EMG, X-ray, US, CT, MRI, fMRI and other medical imaging.
Utilizing cutting-edge technologies, HEAL serves as a hub for data collection, big data harmonization and data optimization and analysis.
It enables the use of different types of medical data, facilitating the development of AI-based predictive models, AI-based decision support systems and data management systems for better care, increased accessibility and usability.
The Lab is involved in research collaborations with major hospitals and healthcare organizations to identify risk factors and build prediction models and decision support systems in many clinical domains. The Lab is also developing dashboards and medical data management systems for research and clinical decision making based on data from the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and other Health Information Systems (HIS).
