Advanced Automated Control Lab

#Electrical and Electronics Engineering

The Advanced Automated Control Lab includes several experiments taken from various sub-fields of control engineering, such as a helicopter with two degrees of freedom, a ball tracking system, an inverted pendulum (both linear and rotational) and some filter topologies, which are based on feedback control

Advanced Automated Control Lab

Most of the experimental systems are controlled and operated through the computer.

In addition, the laboratory experiments serve as a research platform for applying state-of-the-art control techniques, which are taken from both advanced frequency domain techniques (such as the QFT control paradigm) and advanced design techniques in the state-space domain, most notably, the H infinity design platform.
