Medical Assistive Design & Engineering Lab -MADE Lab

Each challenge is characterized and defined in collaboration with experts in relevant medical fields.
Solutions are led by HIT faculty and researchers from various faculties and departments within campus (engineering, design, computer and data science, digital medical technologies, instructional technologies and more).

The MADE Lab is equipped with a variety of advanced tools (various types of 3D printers, laser cutting machines, sensors, controllers etc.) and implements Design Thinking methods – combining technology- and design-based solutions. Solutions are developed in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements and are tested in clinical trials.
