High School students attending the Youth Academic program at HIT

One of the most exciting exhibitions ever presented at the "Virtina" gallery in HIT this year is "Connector- A tribute to Ami Drach". The exhibitions is a tribute the the industrial designer Ami Drach who had passed away, before his time, in 2012.

In a conference and a students' competition that was held at IDC under the title "Development of assistive technologies to ALS patients", a multidisciplinary students team for HIT led by MADE lab, took part in the competition and presented their INDIE-WORD project, that supplies a communication solution to ALS patients in situations where they are not in front of a computer.

Michal's project, guided by Dr. Dror K. Levy," Emoji as a substitute in a faceless era"' was awarded the first prize in the creation category, in the last Research and Creation day that was held recently at HIT.

Adi Arie, M.A. student in Integrated Design had won the first prize in the Multidisciplinary category.

This special day was initiated and organized by HIT's R&D and External Affairs Authority, headed by Dr. Refael Barkan, as a platform for presenting the variety of activities in the research and creation fields at HIT.

Lifetime achievements award to Mr. Shimon Peres and honorary degrees to Mr. Yair Seroussi and Mrs. Judith Bronitzky at HIT's 2016 Graduation Ceremony .

The ceremony's guest of honor was Mr. Shimon Peres, Israel's 9th president who was awarded with a life achievements award and gave a moving and amazing speech

30 students and faculty members from University of Utrecht in the Netherlands, visited HIT.
