Prof. Alla Zak's article was chosen as a key scientific article in "Advances in Engineering".
The 4th international symposium (NTAI-2018) was dedicated to the fields of Nanocomposites, Nano coatings & Nanoparticles and Nano photonics. This meeting will bring together people from both academia and industry to share their experience in nanoscience research, which already led to industrial applications or could serve to foster further development of nanotechnology-based products.

Dr. Arriel Benis (Faculty of Technology Management HIT), Dr. Nissim Harel, (Faculty of Sciences HIT) Dr. Refael Barkan (Head of R&D and External Affiars Authority HIT), and Tomer Sela and Dr. Becca Feldman (Clalit Health Services) received the "Best Poster Award" (3rd place over 122 candidates) at the 13th National Health Policy Conference of the National Institute for Health Policy Research which tooe place last week, in Tel-Aviv.
The final project of Tamir Shoresh and Nadav Katanov from the faculty of Engineering, guided by Dr. Dror Malka, was published in the prestigious in "Photonics and Nanostructures-Fundamentals Applications" magazine.

During the visit, the work was carried out very intensively on several academic and social objectives: Participation in Israel's 70th Independence Day celebration in UN, Sighed a MoU between MYIT and HIT, Meetings to establish future cooperation between St. John's University and with William Paterson University of New Jersey (WPUNJ), Studying the experience of colleagues through participation in the in curriculum held at St. John's University, Meetings with potential donors and discussing ideas related to the future development of the HIT.
EFMI ( European Federation for Medical Informatics ) is the leading organisation in Medical Informatics in Europe and represents 32 countries.
HIT's delegation to Uzbekistan, which was formed according to the framework of cooperation between H.I.T. with universities in the Republic of Uzbekistan returned after completion of a successful visit.
A delegation of Classrooms Without Borders (CWB), visited HIT last week. CWB is a non-profit educational organization founded in 2011 by Dr. Zipora Gur as an independently funded program of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh.
