The Research Authority of HIT – Holon Institute of Technology advances the research, scientific, and technological excellence of the Institute’s researchers, who are at the forefront of academia and research in Israel and worldwide.

At the Research and Innovation Authority, we work closely with our researchers throughout the entire lifecycle of a research grant—from the dissemination of calls for proposals and the submission of research proposals, to the budgetary and regulatory management of awarded grants.

The Research and Innovation Authority provides its researchers with a team of skilled professionals and scientific excellence across disciplines.

  • It provides the following services to the academic community:
  •  Encouraging and promoting research activities.
  • Collecting, consolidating, and disseminating information on research grant opportunities.
  • Assisting academic faculty in preparing grant applications in Israel and overseas.
  • Overseeing research budgets from external grants and ensuring that financial and narrative reports are submitted to funding agencies in accordance with the terms of the grant.
  • Ongoing administration of grant funding in compliance with the guidelines set out by the granting agencies and HIT.
  • Publication of reports and reviews describing the research activities carried out at HIT.
  • Setting policies and priorities for allocating research grants from internal institutional sources.
