Great news to start off this Jewish New Year (Rosh Ha-Shana)! An important MoU was signed digitally between Israel’s Holon Institute of Technology (HIT) and Kazan Federal University (KFU), Russia.
For the 3rd time in a row, the Israeli Council for Higher Education granted financial support to HIT's internationalization process.
The COVID-19 crisis created a new and exciting opportunity for this year's graduates. Many of the presented projects deal with solutions to anxiety and stress, preserving the environment and contributing to the community, creative solutions for dealing with the new reality, seeking the meaning for existence, conflicts in society, global and political issues, many exciting personal and human stories, and more fascinating outcomes.
HIT&HOT NEWS. This month's edition is dedicated to our amazing students and we take this opportunity to introduce you to some of their personal stories. In these challenging times, they keep on volunteering for the good of the community and the environment. Due to the length of this edition, we divided it into two parts.
President of Armenia, Dr. Armen Sarkissian visited HIT and signed an MOU regarding academic collaborations.
Prof. Eduard Yakubov, President of HIT, and Prof. David Rawet, Dean of the Faculty of Design, hosted the founders of ALEX TOYS - Nurit and Rick Amdur. The couple were impressed with the Institute's activities and students.
The Republic of Uzbekistan held parliamentary and local elections on December 22nd . For the very first time the election conducted according to a new Uzbek code, inspired by progressive international standards, to ensure fair, transparent and free elections. About two-thirds out of Uzbekistan’s 20 million registered voters went to the polls for on this historic day.
On December 22nd, the Republic of Uzbekistan will hold parliamentary and local elections, marking the very first time that they will be conducted according to the new election code passed in June 2019. Inspired by accepted international standards, the code was instituted to ensure free, fair and transparent elections in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

A design team from HIT- Holon Institute of Technology is leading the design segment of the Horizon 2020 Internet of Radio Light (IoRL) project. The team is creating designs that will naturally integrate new 5G internet technology into light objects.
