For the past year and a half, Dmitry Patashov has been living in Japan and is about to complete his Ph.D. on the topic of cognitive and motor activity of the brain.

The annual ceremony of awarding outstanding teaching awards to lecturers for teaching, research, creation and contribution to the institute and the community was held at HIT.

Faculty of Instructional Technologies. Dana has been involved in the field of learning for over 20 years. She holds a bachelor's degree with honors from Bar Ilan University in Arabic and grammer and a Master's degree in administration and public policy from Ben-Gurion University. Until the Covid-19 pandemic, she was a director and developer in the virtual worlds mainly dealing with educational content for schools.

The book Teaching and subjects on bio-medical engineering - Approaches and experiences from the Bio-Art project, edited by Peter Arras (KU Leuven, Belgium) and David Luengo (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain), includes a collection of chapters on various topics related to the teaching of bioengineering, which were written by scientists from several higher education institutions, all partners in the Bio-Art project.

The Association of Industrial and Management Engineers part of the AEAI – The Association of Engineers, Architects and Graduates in Technological Sciences in Israel, has decided to award a Lifetime Achievement Award to Professor Oded Maimon of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Technology Management, for his outstanding and numerous contributions in the field.

Achi Elad, a 3rd year student in the Department of Industrial Design, won a design award, in one of the most prestigious competitions in the world, for a project done during his second year of studies.

Natali Poznansky, a graduate of the Department of Industrial Design, won the first prize in the INTERNATIONAL HANDITEC COMPETITION 2020 \ 2021 in France.

A unique, multidisciplinary research laboratory, the only one of its kind in Israel, designed for outstanding students, began operating at HIT and is designed for the study of mathematical objects through visual tools, while combining mathematics, design and computer sciences.
