Electromagnetic interference EMC conference at HIT


Many systems such as communication, inspections & control, medical devices, and electro-optic, which exist in an electromagnetic environment, affect this environment and are affected by it.
The field of Electromagnetic interference deals with assuring the proper function of these systems, while minimizing disturbances from other electromagnetic systems.

The Electromagnetic interference EMC conference, held earlier this year at HIT, in partnership with IEEE Israel, served as a professional platform for the field's top specialists. Prof. Motti Haridim, vice president of HIT for academic development and one of the conference's organizers: "over 20 research works were presented in this year's international conference by leading researchers from Tel Aviv university, The Hebrew university in Jerusalem, Arial university and Be'er Sheba university, to name a few.

During the conference, Prof. Jacob Gavan of HIT, an IEEE Fellow, was awarded a badge of honor from HIT's president, Prof. Yakubov, for his outstanding contribution to the institute over the years.
