Mr. Koren holds a B.A. and M.B.A. in business administration and graduated with honors the "Lahav" program at Tel-Aviv University.

At the age of 31, Mr. Koren manages Tamares Telecom, the company which laid the submarine cable connecting Israel to the global internet network and serves as a board member at Siklu Communications and Tamares Knafaim Holdings.
