AI in the service of medicine

The increased capabilities of Artificial Intelligence (AI), with the increased power of computation and data storage in recent years, has affected all life areas. In recent years, AI has become fundamental for medical analysis in all fields of medicine. AI is used to assist medical diagnosis, tailor treatment in a personalized manner (precision medicine), design new drugs and vaccines, predict the outcome of medical treatment and provide predictions on the spread of infectious diseases.

This conference aims at gathering researchers and scholars from various academic and research institutes and companies in order to present and investigate some of the numerous intersections of medicine and AI, exposing each other and students to the latest developments and AI technologies in the context of medicine.
