“Shall you let AI change your life?”

 


The Embassy of France and the French Institute of Israel are pleased to offer a series of panel discussions that will explore the current issues and challenges raised by the development of artificial intelligence and its diffusion in our societies. Based on a dialogue between French and Israeli experts on artificial intelligence, these events will be open to a non-specialist audience. They will cover all possible approaches to AI, its challenges, its perspectives, in different fields: health, defense, automotive, gender, art…
 
The first two online lectures aim to present artificial intelligence, its functioning and its development in order to give to the audience some keys for a better understanding of AI.


 
First conference : “A.I. from A to Z”
Benoit le Blanc, Head of the National School of Engineering in Cognitic (ENSC), specialized in artificial intelligence and applied cognitive sciences
Benoît Le Blanc will offer a glossary introducing the terms of computer science that are necessary for understanding artificial intelligence.

Second conference : “AI: realities and myths”
Bertrand Braunschweig, Coordinator of the research component of France’s AI plan
Bertrand Braunschweig will explain what is possible to do with AI nowadays and what still comes under science fiction.
