303.022 שקד שקדי, אשר המשמעות מאחורי המילים : מתודולוגיות במחקר איכותני - הלכה למעשה / מהדורה שנייה [תל-אביב] : רמות/ אוניברסיטת תל-אביב, תשע"ד 2014 Abstract בשנת 2003 התפרסם לראשונה ספרו של אשר שקדי "מילים המנסות לגעת", ומיד תפס את מקומו הבולט על מדף הספרים של חוקרים איכותניים ושל תלמידי מחקר. הספר הפך ל"ספר הקורס" ברבים מהקורסים במוסדות אקדמיים ואף אומץ כספר מנחה בקורס מחקרי באוניברסיטה הפתוחה. עקב הביקוש הרב, מדי שנה יוצאת הדפסה חדשה של הספר. הצלחת הספר והעניין הרב שהוא עורר הניעו את בית ההוצאה לעודד את אשר שקדי לכתוב ספר המשך, שיעסוק בסוגיות שלא מצאו את מקומם בספר הראשון. ספר זה, "המשמעות מאחורי המילים", אינו בא להחליף את הספר הראשון אלא להשלים אותו. כל אחד משני הספרים עומד בפני עצמו, אך שניהם ביחד נותנים תמונה שלמה ומקיפה. סוגיות אחדות מטופלות רק בספר הראשון וסוגיות אחרות מטופלות רק בספר השני. ניתן לראות בשני הספרים שני כרכים של סדרה אחת. הספר הנוכחי הוא הספר העברי המקיף ביותר בתחום המחקר האיכותני, ומציג את מרחב המתודולוגיות האפשריות במחקר האיכותני. מטרת הספר היא להוות כלי של עיון והדרכה שבאמצעותו יוכלו החוקרים ותלמידי המחקר למצוא את דרכם במתודולוגיה האיכותנית המתאימה להם ומועדפת על-ידיהם. הספר מבהיר את עקרונות המחקר האיכותני, ומציג שש מתודולוגיות-על המקיפות את רוב המתודולוגיות, הגישות, הסוגות והמתודות של המחקר האיכותני ואת דרכי השילוב ביניהן. לספר שלושה חלקים. בחלק הראשון מוצגים בהרחבה המאפיינים המייחדים את המחקר האיכותני, בפרקי החלק השני מוצגות מתודולוגיות-העל האיכותניות, ובחלק השלישי מוצגים באופן מפורט תהליכי הניתוח של המחקר האיכותני, תוך התאמתם למתודולוגיות השונות Subject Qualitative research Qualitative research -- Israel. This fascinating culture has expanded beyond its boundaries and has influenced western art. Starting with the stone objects of the Neolithic age, this book leads the reader through the centuries of Asian art up to the modern images of China. Sculptured tombs, porcelain, ink painting, the Forbidden City, furniture, lacquer and silk are all present in this work. Because of their special significance in the culture of eastern Asia, calligraphy and jade work are described in two separate chapters. The technique of textile manufacturing, to which a separate chapter is devoted, has an equally important influence on the whole of southeast Asia. Southeast Asia excites enthusiasm by its famous temples as well as by the long houses of Indonesia and the traditional buildings on the Lesser Sunda Islands. Particularly noteworthy are the performing arts, the wayang shadow plays, the ritual and court dances. Angkor, one of the wonders of the world tucked away in the jungle, reveals to us the impressive civilization of the Khmer, and in Pagan we are shown the largest temple site in the world. In Vietnam the strong Chinese influence nevertheless resulted in an original development with imperial city of Hué. Thailand and Laos captivate us with their opulent palaces and temples. All the richness and variety of Japanese cultures emerges in the architecture of the palaces, castles, temples, in the traditional methods of house building and in the principles of the Zen gardens. There is an emphasis on the examination of ceramics and painting as well as a demonstration of the significance of lacquer work, netsuke and theater masks. Sculptures, court art, samurai and folk art complete this picture. Finally the colourful variety of Korean artistic creations is illustrated by early objects in bronze and gold, typical stoneware vessels, paintings and precious gowns. While there are rectangular volumes, you’ll find others that are circular, shaped like a house, and in completely abstract forms that will delight the eyes and imagination. Fine craftsmanship, of course, was another consideration and is evident in this collection, whether it’s a finely tooled leather cover embellished with traditional gold leaf lettering or an exotic Ethiopian binding where a netting of waxed linen weaves together to create a show-stopping open spine. The content varies as well. 77.04 OFF Offenbach, John Milano : Skira Editore, [2019] Abstract Some years ago John Offenbach decided to embark on a series of portraits of Jews from different ethnicities, such as those from India and China and Ethiopia. Not just the great and the good, it had to include the homeless Jew, as well as the rich Jew. The incarcerated Jew, and the heroin addict. Offenbach took inspiration from People of the Twentieth Century, the series of portraits of German people of the 1920’s by the Cologne-based photographer August Sander, but unlike Sander, he decided not to include the background or the setting for any of portraits, as he didn’t want this collection to be documentary in style or intention; so, a weaver in Ethiopia is sitting in exactly the same light as a financier from Wall Street. Half way around the world to each other but surprisingly close. Offenbach travelled to thirteen countries, including Argentina, Azerbaijan, India, Ethiopia, China and Ukraine and took are approximately 150 black-and-white portraits of jews. The objective of the series is to look at Jewish faces and see the similarities and the differences. A snapshot of world Jewry today.
