INTUITEL Consortium – EU project


The Instructional Technology Department participates in the INTUITEL project (2012-2015) funded by the European Commission ICT FP7 Programme. The theme of the project is Technology Enhanced Learning. The objective of INTUITEL is to enhance e-learning content and Learning Management Systems (LMS) with features that so far have been provided only by human tutors. An INTUITEL-enabled system will provide an integrated learning environment that can reconfigure and adapt itself to the needs of any learner. The INTUITEL Consortium consists of 12 experienced and complementary partners from 7 countries: Germany, Austria, Spain, UK, Italy, Netherland and Israel.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under grant agreement no 318496.

Bi National Cooperation – GIF project


The Instructional Technology Department conducts a bi-national research project (2012 -2015) on: "Promoting Learning in Online Peer Assessment Settings by Scripting Negotiation and Supporting Knowledge Awareness". The project is led by Prof. Miky Ronen, Department of Instructional Technology, Holon Institute of Technology, Israel and Prof. Nikol Rummel, Department of Educational Psychology, Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany.

This project has received funding from the for German-Israeli Foundation for Scientific Research and Development under grant agreement no G-1090-117.3/2010
