Getting a research grant from the Israel Ministry of Science and Technology

Warmest congratulations to the research team of Dr. Rafi Berchan and Dr. Nissim Harel, in the Faculty of Sciences at HIT, and Dr. Itamar Shabtai, from the College of Administration, and Prof. Moshe Lashno, from Tel-Aviv University, on receiving a research grant from the Ministry of Science and Technology at a sum total of 400,000 NIS for the next three years.

Research topic: "Patterns of use of Personal Health Records (PHR) on the Internet and their influence on medical treatment quality." This study seeks to determine whether the investment in Internet technology for the improvement of medical service quality is, indeed, worthwhile and benefits Israeli society.
