As part of the Israel-Uzbekistan STEM^2 International Summit in Academy and Science, which is currently convening in 3 major cities in the Republic of Uzbekistan -- Tashkent, Bukhara and Samarkand -- Prof. Eduard Yakubov, President of HIT, met with Mr. Sodiq Safoev, First deputy chairperson of the Senate of Uzbekistan’s parliament, to discuss opportunities for cooperation in the field of education in Uzbekistan.

The top management of "Mayanei HaYeshua” Medical Center paid a reciprocal visit to HIT to meet with senior faculty of the Department of Digital Medical Technologies.

Dr. Hagit Meishar Tal and Dr. Meital Amzaleg, both from the Faculty of Instructional Technologies, received a grant of 100,000 NIS from the Higher Education Council's Planning and Budgeting Committee, and an additional amount from HIT, to encourage unique and innovative activities for improving the quality of teaching and learning in higher education institutions

The graduation ceremony marking the conclusion of the specialized training program in train electrification and green transportation for engineers was held at the Faculty of Engineering. The program was established by HIT as a joint initiative with the Israel Railways, the Electric Company, and the Metropolitan Mass Transit System Ltd.

Dr. Jonathan Schler, Head of the Department of Computer Sciences at HIT, received a three year grant from the ISF (Israel Science Foundation) for his research on :"The Writings of Nicholas of Damascus - Interpretation, Translation and Digital Analysis".

Five students from BAKU State University (BSU), Azerbaijan, spent a week of "Summer School" studies at HIT, as part of SABAH master's degree" project, and HIT students exchange.
