Inauguration of a study room named after the late Dr. Natalia Neiman

 

The Department of Multidisciplinary Studies, headed by Dr. Nava Shaked, inaugurated a study and training room named after the late Dr. Natalia Neiman, who was a dedicated and valued veteran teacher in the English Studies Unit.

 

 

The ceremony was attended by the Institute's President, Prof. Eduard Yakubov, the Institute's CEO, Mr. Shmuel Goldberg, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. David Shoikhet, the President's chief of staff and Senior Advisor, Mr. Mordechay Mishan, Natalia's colleagues and faculty members.

 

Dr. Nava Shaked said in her greetings that Dr. Neiman was loved by all her co-workers and especially by her students, who greatly appreciated her. The decision to call the room after her expresses the deep connection she had to the institute in general and to the English unit in particular.

Dr. Shaked also thanked the institute's management for their continued support of the Department of Multidisciplinary Studies throughout the 3 years of its existence.

Prof. Eduard Yakubov noted in his remarks that Dr. Neiman was not only an English teacher but an educator in the full sense of the word and that she left a mark on everyone she knew. "She saw every student and was able to connect everyone to their studies." said the institute's president.

On this occasion, Dr. Shaked introduced the new head of the English studies unit, Dr. Olga Gupol. The department is undergoing changes in preparation for the introduction of the CHE reform and the task facing the unit is challenging but encourages change in every subject of English learning in academia.
