Israeli new ambassador to Brazil visited HIT

 
Israel's new ambassador to Brazil, Mr. Yossi Shelly visited HIT, accompanied by his wife, Dina, and Mr. Joseph Givon from the Friends of HIT.
 
The guests were welcomed by Prof. Eduard Yakubov, President of HIT and Mr. Shmuel Goldberg, HIT's CEO.

Prof. Yakubov reviewed in the meeting, the institute's activities and its vast network with the local industry and with leading technology companies, as well as some of its curricula in Cyber Security and Instructional technologies studies.
 
The ambassador showed great interest in the sustainability and Cyber security topics and explored the possibility of developing special study programs for the Jewish schools in Brazil.
 
The ambassador had also discussed the various options for collaboration with leading universities and academic institutions in Brazi,l which will include students and faculty staff exchanges, as well as exchange of technological knowledge.

Prof. Yakubov had complimented the ambassador for his impressive achievements so far and said that he intends to visit Brazil soon in order to strengthen the collaborations between HIT and Brazilian academic institutions.
 
Mr. Shelly said at the end of his visit, that he was very pleased to see "true Zionism" in the making at HIT, in the fields of technology, sciences and more.
