"Startup Academy" program first graduates at HIT

The graduation ceremony for the first graduating class of the "Startup for High School" program was held at HIT.

34 excited students from the ORT Melton high school in Bat Yam and the Johanna Jabotinsky Youth Village, received diplomas and 2 academic credits for academic studies at the Institute, in the Faculty of Design.
The students went through a three-year process from 10th grade to 12th grade,where they took part in workshops, lectures and classes at the faculty of Design by the best lecturers and instructors from the Faculty of Design and at the same time also experienced in personal development workshops and academic reinforcements.


All students completed the program with 10 credits and with full matriculation exams grades ' which is a good start for future integration in higher education and a professional career in the field.
The ceremony was held in the presence of HIT's CEO - Mr. Samuel Goldberg, Dean of the Faculty of Design - Prof. David Rawet, Ms. Zivia Talor, and head of the program, teachers and students.


The "Start-up for high school" Association Initiates, develops and operates with great success unique educational programs for different populations of adolescents and young people aged 15-25: from outstanding youth at one end to at-risk youth on the verge of dropping out, at the other end, in all sectors. 

The association continues to support the hundreds of graduates of its programs' studying at the academy, assisting them with funding their studies and providing advice and guidance until the completion of their degree studies and placement in their first job.

The association currently operates in 260 activity centers, in which about 12,000 youth and young students participate each year. Since its establishment, about 25,000 youth have participated in its programs.
