They visited a number of laboratories, among them, our newest: The Living Lab, a ‘smart’, sensor-fitted apartment which allows the faculty and students of the Digital Medical Technologies Department to develop and evaluate novel home care technologies for vulnerable populations, particularly the elderly and those suffering from cognitive decline.

At the Nanotechnology Laboratory in the Faculty of Sciences, the delegation learned of its important work and the applied research conducted therein which focuses on improving life through green energy, security, smart cities and more.
