HIT Strengthen’s Ties with SSU
HIT is shoring up its strong relationships with academic institutions in Uzbekistan, and in a recent meeting with the Samarkand State University, new academic and business collaborations were discussed in depth.
In keeping with HIT President Eduard Yakubov’s vision, the Institute continues to build bridges through education.
In addition to the President, representing HIT was Dr. Rafael Barkan, Vice President of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Internationalization and Ms. Tony Levy, Head of External Relations at the President’s Office.
Representing Samarkand State University (SSU) were Prof. Rustam Khalmuradov, Rector of the University and Dr. Muhtor Nassirov, Vice Rector. The SSU reps emphasized that the joint projects under discussion would strengthen the existing cooperation between institutions and nations.
On the diplomatic end was Ms. Zehavit Hillel, Israel Ambassador to Uzbekistan, who pledged that the Embassy would assist in any way possible for this collaboration to grow and flourish.
