Minister of Communication, Ayoub Kara, visited HIT
Minister of Communication, Ayoub Kara, visited HIT today accompanied by his advisor Radwan Mansour and his political advisor Izchak Druk.
The visit was aimed at tightening the fruitful existing collaboration between HIT and the Druze sector in Israel. Through the years there were Druze students who have graduated from HIT and this reflects one of the major goals in HIT's strategic plan which is enabling and accessing higher education to all the sectors in Israel.
The minister had met with Druze students who currently attend HIT: Suzanne Abas from the department of Computer Science, Wisam Saeb from the faculty of Engineering as well as with Ruan Ali, coordinator of accessibility to the Arab, Druze and Circassia's sectors in Israel, who talked about the HIT's activities for these sectors and about HIT's commitment to make higher education accessible to all.

The minister, who was interviewed on campus radio said that he feels that one of the purposes of his current job is to work for the benefit of the entire Israeli population and that he is very pleased with the existing ties between HIT and the Druze sector as well as its ties with other countries,

Prof. Eduard Yakubov, President of HIT invited the minister to meet again in order to further develop and strengthen the existing ties between HIT and the Druze community.
