Electro-optics Laboratory

The laboratory is located in Room 412/1 and is based on the Newport learning system.

In this laboratory students gain in-depth knowledge about fiber optics and optic networks. They learn about: infrared sources and how to couple them to fiber optic networks; modular construction of an entire data transfer system through fiber optics; maximization of the properties of the optic fiber to build height sensors, stress, temperature, etc. This laboratory is also used as a research laboratory by Prof. Aaron Peled and Dr. Nina Mirchin.
