Lila Chitayat Lila is a Senior lecturer at the Design faculty in HIT institute of technology.
Lila is an architect, New Media artist and an experimental practitioner of design through computational processes.
Lila holds a Master in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University, a B.Arch from Pratt Institute, NY. and a B.Sc from Holon Inst. of Tech..
In 2002 Lila founded LinC studio, a trans-disciplinary design environment utilizing computational patterns to produce a wide range of projects and scales, including urban installations and space design.
Winner of ARS Electronica PRIX 2010 Honorable mention for Interactive art with her project TaxiLink (http://www.taxilinkproject.com/) with Alon Chitayat, winner of ‘Virtual Utopian Jerusalem' as part of international MIC project of EU and commissioned by Blumfield museum of science Jerusalem, ‘White tent city', Pixel Hotel, ‘Hansen Augmented reality project' and exhibition design for the Israeli museum In Jerusalem.
