Alongside the promotion of excellence in teaching and academic entrepreneurship, the HIT (Holon Institute of Technology) Research Authority is also entrusted with the task of promoting and managing excellence in the basic and applied research at the Institute.

The HIT Research Authority singles out various research projects in Israel and abroad and raises funding and support for the research conducted by the Institute staff – usually in close cooperation with leading universities and research institutions in Israel and abroad.

In addition, the Institute takes on promising young scientists and integrates them into multi-disciplinary research teams with experienced researchers, students and industrialists. These groups work diligently on practical research in ground-breaking technologies and good results soon follow. HIT boasts an impressive record of winning prestigious research grants in the fields of science and technology.
