Students from HILLEL Latin America received their certificates at HIT

 
The course : "Forward to the Future: Revolutionary Technologies" included 12 lectures given by mainly from HIT but also from the Tel Aviv University, the Weizmann Institute and the Israel-Latin America Chamber of Commerce. The meetings took place twice a week and included subjects such as "An Entrepreneur in the Start-Up Nation", "Nano-materials & Nano-technology – Real-life applications", "Cyber Security – the dark side of technology", "Digital Health – The fourth global revolution" and more.
 
This project was initiated by Mr. Joseph Givon, a dear friend of HIT, together with Mrs. Marcia Kelner Polisuk, Director of Development at "Hillel" Latin America, which was given the "go ahead" by Prof. Eduard Yakubov President of HIT.
 
The main purpose of this course was to expose these Latin American students to lectures in the fields of entrepreneurship and advanced technologies.

Most students already graduated with a B.A in their respective countries (Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay).
 
Mrs. Daiana Morales from the Havaya Israelit ("the Israel Experience") and Mr. Gabriel Hayun, CEO of the Israel- Latin America Chamber of Commerce were among the guests of yesterday's concluding ceremony where the students were awarded a certificate for their participation.
 
The students' feedback to the course was fantastic they've mentioned the passion the lecturers put into their lectures and the "homey" atmosphere of HIT.
 
Prof. Eduard Yakubov thanked Mr. Givon and Mrs. Polisuk saying "we are very pleased and grateful for the opportunity we were given to host and teach these students. This is the first group and I trust and hope many more will follow. We extend our invitation to the students to stay and study here at HIT".
